Election day. Five Whigs are elected to lower house of Eleventh General Assembly. Lincoln votes for four Whigs and J. M. Barrett, Democrat. His vote helps elect E. D. Baker to Illinois Senate. Darneille, Brown, Bradford, and Francis are elected with Lincoln to House. Lincoln polls smallest vote of elected candidates.
