Lincoln writes bill of exceptions in Combs v. Blount & Stubblefield, which Judge Davis signs, again sits as judge, hearing 16 cases, and in evening Republicans meet to celebrate victory in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Minnesota
elections. Lincoln, Swett, and Weldon make "eloquent and stirring speeches."
