Circuit Court, Judge Samuel H. Treat swears in a jury to hear the case of
Gale v. Morgan County Bank. Logan &
Lincoln represent the Morgan County Bank, which plaintiff Dewitt C. Gale is
suing for $10,000 in damages. Gale made deposits totaling $4,000, and he claims
that the bank failed to credit his account. The trial lasts until Judge Treat
adjourns the session for the day, and he orders that the "trial be continued
