"The amount of business . . . does not seem to be very great, and
owing to the excessively warm weather, there is no disposition on the
part of the members of the bar to crowd it forward . . . We are not
surprised at this, for even we, who are working men,
find it difficult to bear up under the high temperature of the
season."
