Lincoln enters appearance of defendants in Hickox v. Waller et ux. and consents to foreclosure decree. In Shields v. Sampson, court finds for plaintiff, Lincoln's client, in sum of $80.53. Lincoln defends Moses Loe on charge of murder. On his motion and affidavit, case is continued. Loe is to be kept in Sangamon County jail until trial. Lincoln writes affidavit of accused, and of E. D. Meacham, prosecution witness, and writes continuance in court record. Campbell v. Warner, ejectment, Lincoln and Moore for defense, is also continued, by consent, at plaintiff's cost.
