Monday, November 17, 1845.Springfield, IL. | Lincoln writes to B. F. James that he is anxious no more newspapers follow
lead of Alton paper and nominate Hardin for Congress. "Baker is certainly off of the
track, and I fear Hardin intends to be on it." He writes out receipt and Josiah Francis
