In the De Witt County Circuit Court, the court continues the case of Lincoln v. Turner & Turner. Abraham Lincoln is suing Spencer Turner and William Turner to collect a $200, promissory note. Later in the course of the lawsuit, the defendants will plea that they should not have to pay because they were minors when they signed the note. Lincoln will claim that they were not minors.
